Dayna

Hey guys, I’m Dayna, the other half of the rock and grunge index. Like Sam, I’ve experienced changes in my music taste. Don’t get me wrong the old favourites still hit hard. Luckily I was never a Taylor Swift fan (no hate if you are a Swiftie but I don’t like her music sorry…). My first band I really found I loved was one direction but this soon was lost when I found the world of film music and subsequently musicals. I still love musicals especially Hamilton and six but music from the grunge and inde genres are where I really found the music I Iove.

I don’t just listen to music, I also play musical instruments and am the singer in a band (we do have another singer joining the band) which isn’t rock at all but more acoustic with some grungey influences when we rearrange the songs that we perform.I play the viola, violin and a touch of guitar but not much. Playing music has been what I have done for a long time!!!
